Bears coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday that nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon’s groin injury “didn’t look good” and the team is unsure whether it will get him back this season. If he goes on injured reserve, he would be out the rest of the regular season and eligible to return for a potential playoff game.
Gordon has played just three games this season and has been out with three separate injuries. He had a hamstring shortly before the season opener and missed the first four games, then came back for two before going on injured reserve with a calf injury.
