Bears in talks with the city on allowing fans back at Soldier Field

According to a report from WGN News, the Chicago Bears have been talking with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot about allowing some fans to come back to Soldier Field.

The city hasn’t allowed fans at sporting events since the pandemic hit earlier this year, but with other cities allowing some fans into stadiums, it now appears that Lightfoot’s administration could be softening their stance.

The Bears have already played three games at home, with their next Soldier Field contest slated for Sunday, November 1 against the New Orleans Saints.

The teams that have had people in attendance have asked their fans to keep face coverings on at all times and have spaced out seating assignments.
