New Bears quarterback Andy Dalton will wear No. 14, the same jersey number he’s donned his entire pro career, in 2021. He was one of six free-agent signings to whom the Bears assigned numbers Friday.
Running back Damien Williams will wear No. 25 for the first time in his career; he donned No. 26 in his Super Bowl star turn with the Chiefs. Cornerback Desmond Trufant will wear No. 21, the number he wore during his Falcons stint from 2013-19.
The Bears signed outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu to take Barkevious Mingo’s place as their third outside linebacker.
