After suffering a knee in Sunday’s 20-9 over the Raiders, the Bears have placed Germain Ifedi on injured reserve, reports the team. He will have to miss at least the next three weeks as a result while he recovers.
Ifedi has been a relative stabilizing force for the Chicago offensive line, so this news is not ideal. Over the last couple of games, it appeared the Bears’ front began to establish a rhythm and identity together as one unit, particularly when running the ball. That chemistry with Ifedi involved now has to be shelved for the time being.
