The Bears on Monday released veteran cornerback Tracy Porter.
Porter appeared in 30 games with 28 starts the past two seasons with the Bears, recording 86 tackles, three interceptions, 35 pass breakups and two forced fumbles. Last year he played in all 16 games with 15 starts and registered 48 tackles, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups and one forced fumble.
Prior to joining the Bears in 2015, Porter spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Saints (2008-11), Broncos (2012), Raiders (2013) and Redskins (2014).
