The Bears cut defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon for the second time in five days Tuesday.

The 31-year-old was released from the 53-man roster Friday and added to the practice squad Saturday.

He played at least one-fifth of the Bears’ defensive snaps in each of the team’s first four games but hasn’t appeared since. He had 32 snaps against the Cowboys, a season-high.

He was made expendable when the Bears decided to move second-round defensive tackle Shemar Turner to defensive end to bolster their run defense. Kpassagnon’s departure also clears a roster spot for the Bears to move defensive end Austin Booker off injured reserve by Sunday’s game against the Ravens, should they so choose.
