Are we done mythicizing Bears first-round pick Colston Loveland yet?

No?

Guess not. It’s not every year an Adonis of a tight end who can brand cattle with one hand while twisting barbed wire with the other just falls into our lap.

Holy Idaho, it seems he’s good at football, too.

But there must be more to Loveland than his rugged farming and ranching background, his unusual combination of size, speed and route-running and the physical potential that made him one of the most dramatic risers of the 2025 draft.
