Bears CB Porter exits game with head injury

CHICAGO -- Bears starting cornerback Tracy Porter has been ruled out for the rest of Chicago's preseason game against Kansas City on Saturday because of a head injury.

Porter, 30, stayed down on the ground for several minutes in the second quarter after absorbing a knee to the head from teammate Harold Jones-Quartey on a tackle attempt. He was immediately escorted back to the locker room and evaluated for a concussion.

The Bears are dangerously thin at cornerback. Former first round pick Kyle Fuller recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to miss the remainder of the preseason.
