The Bears’ uncertainty at cornerback for Monday night’s opener grew a little more dire Sunday when the team added slot cornerback Kyler Gordon to the injury report with a hamstring injury.
He is officially questionable to play against the Vikings.
Gordon fought a nagging hamstring injury last month. He was injured in early August and coach Ben Johnson declared him “week-to-week” on Aug. 13 but he returned to practice exactly seven days later as a limited participant. He did not appear on this week’s injury report until Sunday.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who suffered a severe groin injury before the start of training camp, practiced for the first time earlier this week and is questionable to play Monday.
