Sunday’s Bears game was one of the five coldest ever at Soldier Field.
Temperature was 8 degrees when the Browns kicked off, which is tied for the fourth-coldest ever and the second-coldest since 1989.
The coldest remains the Dec. 22, 2008 game against the Packers, which was 2 degrees. Sunday’s game tied the Bears’ Dec. 9, 2013, game against the Cowboys in which Mike Ditka’s number was retired during a halftime ceremony.
The Bears played a 3-degree game against the Packers in 1983 and a 4-degree game against Washington in 1988.
