Bears blindsided after losing critical piece to coaching staff

Well, all that success from the 2025 season has resulted in the Chicago Bears losing key members of the staff, but this one might sting the most.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the Baltimore Ravens have hired Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle to the same position. Doyle spent only one season as the Bears' offensive coordinator after two seasons as the Denver Broncos' tight ends coach.

Despite this looking like a lateral move for Doyle, this is an upgrade for him. Bears head coach Ben Johnson has been the playcaller for Chicago's offense, while Doyle will now get the chance to call the plays in Baltimore.
