Bears Add Wide Receiver Coach

Matt Nagy continues to assemble his staff. After (finally) securing the services of Vic Fangio for another three years, the former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator returned to the offensive side of the football, this time picking up Mike Furrey as the wide receivers coach for the team.

Furrey was a teammate of Nagy in 2002 when they both played for the New York Dragons in the Arena League. Furrey left the Arena League for the NFL. In addition to serving in the NFL as a wide receiver as recently as 2009 (amassing nearly 2300 total receiving yards in the NFL), he also played defensive back for much of his time.
