Bears add backup QB Tyson Bagent to injury report with illness Sunday morning

The Bears could be thin at quarterback Sunday against the Browns after adding backup Tyson Bagent to the injury report with an illness the morning of the game. The team listed him as questionable.

That’s not a significant concern as long as starter Caleb Williams gets through the game healthy, and he has played every snap other than Bagent taking over at the end of a Week 2 blowout loss to the Lions.

The only other quarterback on the roster is 37-year-old Case Keenum, who was signed primarily to mentor Williams and Bagent and hasn’t been active on game day.
