Bears acquire Adam Redmond

The Bears have signed Adam Redmond, per the team website. An interior offensive lineman known for making his hay with the Cowboys and Colts last decade, the official financial terms of Redmond’s deal have not yet been disclosed.

Redmond, 28, is a former 2016 undrafted free agent from Harvard. Ever since, the Ivy League big man has played in 18 separate games with Indianapolis and Dallas, including a career-high 10 appearances with the Cowboys as a first-tier reserve in 2019.

Given where the Bears stand with their offensive line situation, the addition of Redmond could prove to have solid dividends.
