New coach Ben Johnson’s overhaul of the Bears will be tested immediately this season with games against the top two teams in the NFC North from last season.
They open with a Monday Night Football game against the Vikings on Sept. 8 at Soldier Field as part of the prime-time package for kickoff week, then visit Johnson’s former team, the Lions, in Week 2. The NFL revealed those matchups and the rest of the 2025 schedule Wednesday.
The Bears will face former head coach Matt Eberflus, now the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator, in Week 3 and go on to tangle with the defending champion Eagles, the surging Commanders, the ever-dominant Ravens and Roquan Smith and more before closing out the season at Soldier Field against the Lions.
