Aaron Rodgers plans sign with the Steelers in time to participate in their minicamp next week, per multiple reports Thursday. Rodgers’ 21st season will include a game at Soldier Field on Nov. 23.
The Steelers were long thought to be the most logical remaining team for Rodgers, who went 5-12 with the Jets last season after missing all but the first quarter of Week 1 in 2023 because of a torn Achilles tendon.
Russell Wilson, the Steelers’ starter last year, signed with the Giants. Justin Fields, the backup, will start for the Jets.
