A (football) healing: Bears hire Jason Loscalzo as strength coach

A new coaching staff with Matt Nagy means a fresh vision under Matt Nagy from the ground up, not limited to the field. It means keeping players healthy and maintaining that health through the season, something the Bears have struggled with in recent years.

With that ideal in mind, the Bears have hired Jason Loscalzo as their new strength coach per Football Scoop. And working from the training room, they have also hired Andre Tucker as their new head athletic trainer, according to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

In the case of Loscalzo, he had spent the last six seasons at Washington State in the same position, being responsible in the development of all strength, development, and coordination of the football program from a conditioning perspective.
