The Chicago Bears have always prided themselves on defense for decades and have usually featured great defensive players at all three levels. The Bears have worked with a combination of Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara for a few years now and while that combination has worked, for the most part, in recent games, Amukamara has looked very poor and has possibly reached the end of his shelf life.
The Bears have him signed through 2020 but there is an “out” in his contract at the end of this year that would leave the Bears just $1 million in dead cap space.
