The Chicago Bears had high hopes in closing out the preseason the right way, and that's exactly what they got as they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 29-27.
It was a bad start for the Bears who were down 17-0 after three consecutive scoring drives led by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was able to bounce back with two scoring drives to close out the first half.
Even with the Bears dominating the time of possession by over 10 minutes, it was the Chiefs' turnover that made the difference. Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent was the man who led the comeback and closed it out with a game-winning touchdown to close things out.
