Among last year’s undrafted free agents, running back Artavis Pierce and offensive lineman Dieter Eiselen each got snaps during the season and several others got an extended opportunity on the practice squad.
The top undrafted player in Bears history was center Jay Hilgenberg, who wasn’t picked in 1981 but went on to play 11 seasons for the Bears.
