In the fifth round, the Bears selected Penn State safety Adrian Amos.
The Bears traded their fifth-round pick last year to trade up for Brock Vereen, and picked up another fifth-rounder in the Brandon Marshall trade. Today, that pick is another safety, Penn State's Adrian Amos.
Amos is a 6'0", 218 pound safety with good range and athleticism, boasting a 4.37 and 4.40 40 yard dash, 21 bench reps, and earned top marks at the combine in the 20-yard shuttle and 60-yard shuttle.
Amos is a coverage/range safety who moves well, recognizes routes and gets in position.
