The Chicago Bears and every other NFL team must trim their roster down from 80 to 53 players by Saturday September 5th and 4pm ET. Will there be any surprise cuts for the Bears this year? Matt Nagy and his staff will have to make some tough decisions as they round out the Bears 53-man roster this season. The Bears will also be tasked with filling out a 16-man practice squad. The NFL opted to increase practice squads to 16 players this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
