Matt Nagy and the Bears made several changes to their offensive staff this offseason as they hired Bill Lazor (OC), John DeFilippo (QB), Clancy Barone (TE) & Juan Castillo (OL). Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reports that Nagy was “seeking pushback” from his assistant coaches and that he’s been getting challenged this offseason. Will the Bears offense get back on track in 2020?
Mitch Trubisky is certainly hoping to earn the coaches trust and win the Bears’ starting QB job this year. He’ll compete with Nick Foles in training camp and during the preseason. Adam Jahns suggests Trubisky needs the preseason more than Foles to prove he’s worthy of starting. Will Darnell Mooney make an impact as a rookie? He’s been studying the playbook hard since getting drafted and is reportedly eager to impress the Bears’ coaching staff.
