Mitch Trubisky enters 2020 at a crossroads as his future with the Bears is very much in doubt. Bleacher Report says this season is make-or-break for Trubisky. He’ll have to beat out Nick Foles for the starting QB role in Chicago. Can Trubisky win the job and prove to the Bears that he’s the franchise QB moving forward? Clippers’ head coach Doc Rivers joined Adam Schefter’s podcast and said that he expects Nick Foles to win the starting job. Rivers grew up in Chicago and is a huge Bears fan.
ESPN released its 2020 Fantasy Football Rankings and had Bears’ RB Tarik Cohen one spot ahead of David Montgomery. Cohen certainly gets more opportunities in the passing game, but will he have a bigger impact than Montgomery in 2020? ESPN also did a 4-round “draft from scratch” for all 32 NFL teams based on the draft order in 2020. Khalil Mack was the first Bears’ player taken at #24 overall in the first round. Allen Robinson was the only other Bear selected in the 128-player fantasy draft.
