The Bears offensive line was a major issue in 2019, and GM Ryan Pace hasn’t done anything to address that in NFL Free Agency. While that could change, maybe drafting an offensive lineman is the better option. There’s several players the Bears could target in Round 2 including Cesar Ruiz, Matt Hennessy and Lloyd Cushenberry. Offensive Line is clearly the biggest need for the Chicago Bears.
Grant Delpit is one of the best safety prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft. With Ha Ha Clinton-Dix signing with the Cowboys, the Bears need a safety next to Eddie Jackson. Could Chicago trade up for Grant Delpit in the draft? Delpit is more of a coverage safety, but could be an intriguing option if he slides.
