ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has released his latest 2020 NFL Mock Draft for Rounds 1 & 2. The Chicago Bears don’t have a first round pick, but have two 2nd round picks in this year’s NFL Draft. Kiper has the Bears adding Notre Dame TE Cole Kmet at pick #43 and Penn State WR KJ Hamler at pick #50. The Bears’ biggest draft needs include OL, CB, Safety, TE and WR. In Mel Kiper’s 2 Round NFL Mock Draft he addresses tight end & wide receiver for the Bears with Kmet & Hamler. Cole Kmet was a two sport athlete at Notre Dame as he also played baseball for the Fighting Irish. He broke out in 2019 on the football field with over 500 yards and 6 TDs. He’s the top TE prospect in this year’s draft class.

KJ Hamler would bring a ton of speed to the Chicago Bears offense. Mel Kiper has Hamler going to the Bears at pick #50 behind 8 other WR prospects. Hamler averaged almost 17 yards per reception in his two seasons at Penn State and had 13 receiving touchdowns. He was also one of the top kick & punt returners in college football and could play that role for the Bears as well.
