Chelsea and Strasbourg have agreed to wait until the end of the season before deciding what to do with Andrey Santos, after a loan spell in which he turned into a young force in French football.
Sources say nothing is finalised regarding the 20-year-old Brazilian’s future despite it being widely assumed – certainly in the social media sphere – that he will spend next term at Stamford Bridge after wowing supporters of their sister club.
There is a strong chance that could happen, of course, as Chelsea have been impressed while following his development closely under Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior.
