West Ham have offered Declan Rice 'an EIGHT-year contract worth £200,000 a week' in attempt to stave off elite clubs interested in signing England star... after midfielder has rejected previous deals

West Ham have severely upped the ante in their bid to keep star midfielder Declan Rice by offering him a new eight-year deal worth £200,000 a week.

The Hammers are in ongoing discussions with Rice, who has rejected three deals from his club so far, and this is the latest attempt to get the 23-year-old to put pen to paper, according to talkSPORT.

Rice has two years left on his current deal, with an option to extend for another year, but West Ham are keenly aware of several clubs, most notably Chelsea and Manchester United, that are looking to sign their prize asset this summer.
