Tottenham star Harry Kane named Player of the Year as Ryan Sessegnon picks up Young Player gong at London Football Awards

Harry Kane was the big winner at the London Football Awards as he was named footballer of the year.

The Tottenham star has had a stunning 12 months and was rightly rewarded with the top gong.

He beat Cesar Azpilicueta, team-mates Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen, and Wilfried Zaha.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson picked up manager of the year during Thursday night’s ceremony at Battersea Evolution.

Hodgson has led a seemingly doomed Palace side off the bottom of the table and outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
