Todd Boehly is poised to attend the Premier League summit TOMORROW in his first official appearance as Chelsea's new owner after the US tycoon's £4.25bn takeover was ratified last month by the top flight and UK Government

Todd Boehly is set to make his first official appearance as new Chelsea owner at Wednesday's Premier League meeting.

All 20 clubs will reconvene on Wednesday to constitute the new season, and US tycoon Boehly is expected to attend the summit, which will be his first top-flight engagement since his £4.25billion Stamford Bridge takeover was ratified last month.

Behdad Eghbali, co-founder of joint owners Clearlake Capital, is also due to attend the meeting near Leeds on Wednesday.

The meeting will provide the new Chelsea owner with an opportunity to meet his new counterparts ahead of the first season without Roman Abramovich at the helm for almost two decades.
