Former Germany star Dietmar Hamann has claimed Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel could face the axe if the club fails to win the Bundesliga title this season.
Tuchel, 49, was appointed Bayern manager following the removal of Julian Nagelsmann in March and has struggled in his short spell at the Allianz Arena to date.
He won his first game in charge - against his former club Borussia Dortmund - but Bayern have since lost top spot to Dortmund, as well as crashing out of the Champions League and German Cup.
Bayern were soundly beaten 3-1 at Mainz on Saturday, with Dortmund leapfrogging them at the summit of the Bundesliga following a 4-0 win over Frankfurt.
