Thibaut Courtois struggles with giant medicine ball as Chelsea train ahead of weekend trip to Southampton

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has found a new a novel way to improve his handling skills as he threw and caught a giant 7kg medicine ball in his latest training session with Chelsea.

The Belgium international looked to be struggling as he attempted to throw the training aid back and forth before stepping between the nets to practice with a more traditionally sized ball.

It provided a bit of fun to a dreary day at Chelsea's Cobham training ground, where players stepped up preparations ahead of their next Premier League game away to Southampton.
