Thibaut Courtois has revealed a surprising practice he was forced to undertake during his time at Atletico Madrid.
The goalkeeper was made to urinate in a bottle so that his fitness coach Oscar Ezequiel Ortega could monitor his hydration.
Ortega is renowned as a conditioning guru and Courtois believes he has come a long way since those days in Spain.
The Chelsea stopper thinks his Italian coaches at Stamford Bridge have brought the best out of him.
He told BeIn: 'He (Ortega) actually made us urinate in a bottle, to see if we were hydrated or not.
