'There is still magic in this player': Vincent Kompany insists it's 'too early' to be talking about retirement for Eden Hazard... despite another injury-plagued season that's restricted his former Belgium team-mate to three appearances since the World Cup

Vincent Kompany says it's 'too soon to be talking about the end of Eden Hazard's career' and insists the Real Madrid flop has more 'magic' left in the tank.

Hazard joined Real Madrid in June 2019 for an initial fee of £88million, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract worth more than £400,000 a week.

However, Hazard - who left Chelsea with the blessing of the club - has struggled for both form and fitness since arriving in Madrid.

His career with the Spanish giants has been plagued by injuries and poor performances.
