Tammy Abraham's scoring feats for Chelsea this season have triggered another year on his contract keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2023 - but England striker is still in line for bumper pay increase

Tammy Abraham's impressive scoring record this season has triggered another year on his Chelsea contract.

The 22-year-old penned his current deal in 2017 and it was initially due to expire in 2022, raising fears the club may have to rush through a new agreement this summer.

But The Telegraph report that the forward triggered a one-year extension after reaching a set number of appearances and goals this season, meaning he will stay at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
