Swansea hold discussions with former Chelsea assistant Jody Morris about becoming their new manager - with the Welsh side desperate to appoint a new boss quickly after John Eustace pulled out of a move

Jody Morris has held talks with Swansea City regarding becoming their next manager.

The 42-year-old has been out of work since January when he lost his job as Chelsea assistant manager following Frank Lampard's sacking.

Swansea have also discussed MK Dons boss Russell Martin, though compensation would be required for the 35-year-old.

Former Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has also been considered as Swansea look to replace Steve Cooper, though Morris and Martin are frontrunners.

Cooper is understood to have left because of disagreements regarding transfer policy, and frustration with the proposed move of captain Matt Grimes to Fulham.
