Ross Barkley Says Chelsea Players Need to 'Step Up' After Eden Hazard's Exit

Ross Barkley has called on his Chelsea team-mates to "step up" to compensate for the loss of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.

Hazard left the club at the end of last season, but the Blues are unable to bring in a replacement as they're banned from registering new players until next summer.

Barkley told Goal's Nizaar Kinsella:

"You have to fill in. Everyone in the squad understands that he [Hazard] was a great player, but he is gone. He has new challenges now and we have to replace his goals and create the chances.
