Romelu Lukaku's criticism of Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel and his tactics was 'misunderstood and misinterpreted', according to former Blues midfielder Geremi.

The Belgian striker sparked controversy in December when he said he was 'not happy' with his bit-part role at Stamford Bridge in an interview with Sky Italia.

£97.5million man Lukaku expressed his affection for former club Inter Milan, saying he wanted to return one day, and was critical of the way Tuchel set the team up.
