Rio Ferdinand suggests that Tammy Abraham should have been in Gareth Southgate's England squad

Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Tammy Abraham would have been a useful addition in Gareth Southgate's England World Cup squad.

Southgate named his final list of 26 names on Thursday, ahead of the Three Lions kicking off their tournament against Iran on November 21.

Abraham was left out by the England boss, with Callum Wilson and Marcus Rashford among those recalled and preferred in attack.
