Rio Ferdinand admits AC Milan's double-header with Chelsea 'couldn't have gone any worse' for Fikayo Tomori... with the England defender now sweating on his place at the World Cup after getting sent off against the Blues in the Champions League

Rio Ferdinand has claimed that AC Milan's two Champions League matches against Chelsea over the past week 'could not have gone any worse' for Fikayo Tomori.

Tomori endured a difficult game at Stamford Bridge last week as Milan slipped to a 3-0 defeat, and he was then sent off in the first half after dragging back Mason Mount inside the penalty area in Tuesday's return fixture which the Blues went on to win 2-0.

The 24-year-old has only picked up three caps for England, despite some supporters calling for him to be used more regularly.
