Richard Keys insists he was sure Graham Potter would be a success at Chelsea because he had Petr Cech and Marina Granovskaia at the club - even though they both left MONTHS before he became manager

Richard Keys has urged he was adamant Graham Potter would succeed at Chelsea thanks to the support of directors Petr Cech and Marina Granovskaia, who both left the club months before his arrival at Stamford Bridge in September.

The ex-Sky Sports presenter believes Potter should not be blamed for Chelsea's lacklustre form so far this season, with the Blues languishing in 10th spot in the Premier League table and already out of both the FA Cup and League Cup.

Keys instead slammed Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly in a scathing rant on his website, criticising the American's decision to 'show the door' to Cech and Granovskaia.
