REVEALED: Romelu Lukaku's Chelsea exit fee with Roma looking likely to pay up to make his successful loan move permanent and end Belgian's Stamford Bridge nightmare

Roma will have to pay Chelsea £37million to sign Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal next summer.

Lukaku has made a superb start to his career at the Serie 'A' side following his loan move from the Blues in the summer, scoring seven goals in his first eight appearances in all competitions.

Jose Mourinho's Roma could look to sign the 30-year-old and know the price they have to pay.

Chelsea inserted a £37m release clause into his contract when they negotiated his £5m loan switch to Roma, and the Stamford Bridge club will honour that fee next summer.
