Real Madrid fear CHELSEA have now entered the fight to sign Gabriel Jesus from Man City, with new owner Todd Boehly 'preparing a formal proposal' for the striker also wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham

Real Madrid are bracing for a transfer scrap with Chelsea over Man City striker Gabriel Jesus, reports claim, with new president Todd Boehly keen to make the Brazilian one of his first signings.

Jesus has a number of teams chasing his signature this summer after falling out of favour at the Etihad - with Pep Guardiola signing Erling Haaland in a £51million deal - and Real Madrid have become the latest team to join the hunt after reportedly being offered him.

But now Chelsea have shown 'strong interest' in Jesus, according to Spanish outlet AS, and are preparing a bid once the legalities of Boehly's deal have officially gone through - in a blow to Madrid who were hoping to bring him to the Bernabeu.
