PSV Eindhoven hope to sign Chelsea's Marco van Ginkel on loan again when the transfer window opens in January.
The Dutch midfielder sparkled on loan in Eindhoven last season and the Eredivisie club wanted to take him again this summer.
But Chelsea decided the 23-year-old's persistent problems with a troublesome knee injury would be better treated in London and pulled out of a deal.

PSV manager Phillip Cocu remains keen, though, as he looks to boost his side's domestic title prospects and their potential efforts in the Europa League with a Champions League exit on the cards.
