Marc Cucurella says Chelsea newcomers - including Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap - have "a lot of quality" and hopes they can bring "fresh energy".
The 26-year-old is one of the oldest players in Chelsea's squad and has emerged as one of their leaders.
He was speaking after Gittens became their latest signing - joining from Borussia Dortmund in a £48.5m move, taking their total spend this summer to about £170m.
Asked about what the new signings have added, Cucurella said: "I think this is good for Chelsea because we have new players with a lot of quality.
