Michael Ballack has told Diego Costa to scrap any plans to move to China, telling the Chelsea striker that he already earns more money than he will ever be able to spend.
Costa stands to earn £600,000 a week if he follows the exodus to China, with his future uncertain following a training ground row with Antonio Conte almost a fortnight ago.
But former Chelsea midfielder Ballack believes the move would show a lack of competitive ambition for a player already pocketing £150,000 a week at the Premier League leaders.
He said: ‘It's crazy.
