Max Allegri 'turned down Chelsea job TWICE in the space of 15 days and also 'rejected proposal' from Manchester United before the Italian manager decided to return to Juventus

Max Allegri reportedly turned down five job offers, including Chelsea twice, before returning to the helm at Juventus.

The 53-year-old returned to the former Serie A champions last month, just two years after he was sacked by the club in May 2019.

Over the past two years the Italian who won five straight league titles in his last spell at Juventus, has been linked with many top jobs across Europe.

In an interview with Il Bianconero, Allegri's mentor Giovanni Galeone said that the manager rejected proposals from five clubs including Chelsea twice.
