Luis Enrique's high wage demands could scupper former Barcelona manager's bid to succeed Antonio Conte at Chelsea

Luis Enrique will have to accept a much lower wage than he finished on at Barcelona to land the Chelsea job.

The Spaniard is keen on taking charge at Stamford Bridge, but according to The Daily Telegraph he would have to negotiate a huge climb-down from his former job.

Enrique earned in the region of £16.5m-a-year at the end of his three-year spell at the Nou Camp.
