Kepa Arrizabalaga is slammed for 'poor error' that led to Marco Asensio's goal against Chelsea, as Chris Sutton claims Real Madrid No 1 Thibaut Courtois 'would have saved it' and Joe Cole questions Spain keeper's ability to deliver in the 'big moments'

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been criticised for his role in Real Madrid's second goal against Chelsea.

The Blues fell to a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash, giving themselves a huge uphill task to reach the semis.

Karim Benzema opened the scoring in the first half after Kepa had palmed a shot into the Frenchman's path, whilst Ben Chilwell saw red in the second period.

Marco Asensio then wrapped up the game with a fine effort from the edge of the box on 74 minutes.
