Kai Havertz's former Chelsea team-mate Antonio Rudiger says he'd be 'happy' to play with the forward again at Real Madrid - as Los Blancos target the German after Karim Benzema's exit

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed that it would 'make him happy' to be reunited with Kai Havertz at club level.

Rudiger and Havertz are team-mates for Germany and previously played together for Chelsea between 2020 and 2022.

Real are interested in signing Havertz as a replacement for Karim Benzema, who has joined Al-Ittihad.

Rudiger would be delighted if a deal comes to fruition but stressed that he isn't sure what will happen.

Speaking in a press conference, Rudiger said: 'It would make me happy to play with Havertz again at club level.
